co-Founder
Grew up in a family deeply rooted in the construction and renovation business in Greece, giving her firsthand insight into the challenges homeowners face.
A mechanical engineer by training, Foteini moved to Gothenburg in 2019 and worked across several engineering roles in Sweden before channelling her expertise into EkoReno.
Driven by a deep passion for circular economy and sustainability, she co-founded EkoReno to make energy-efficient renovations accessible and transparent for every homeowner.

Like Foteini, Sergio comes from a family with a construction business background in Spain, shaping his understanding of renovation from an early age.
An industrial engineer who moved to Sweden in 2016, first to Lund and then to Gothenburg in 2017. He gained broad experience across various companies and technical roles before co-founding EkoReno.
After meeting Foteini and recognising a shared frustration with how difficult it is for homeowners to navigate energy upgrades, Sergio channelled his technical skills into building the platform that powers EkoReno.

EkoReno is the result of combining their engineering expertise with a genuine desire to make energy-efficient living accessible to everyone.
