- "Platform" refers to the EkoReno web application and all associated services.
- "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform.
- "Homeowner" refers to a User who uses the Platform to explore energy renovation options for their property.
- "Contractor" refers to a verified professional who provides renovation services through the Platform.
- "Services" refers to all features and functionalities provided by the Platform, including energy analysis, cost estimation, contractor matching, and grant eligibility assessment.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you have read and understood these terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Platform.
3. Description of Services
EkoReno provides a digital platform that helps homeowners plan energy-efficient renovations. Our services include:
- Energy performance analysis and energy class assessment based on property data
- Personalised renovation scenarios with estimated costs and energy savings
- Grant and subsidy eligibility assessment (ROT deduction, Boverket grants)
- Contractor matching and quote request facilitation
- Project tracking and management tools
4. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
5. Homeowner Obligations
- Provide accurate property information to receive reliable energy analysis and cost estimates
- Understand that all estimates, savings projections, and energy calculations are indicative and may vary from actual results
- Any agreements with Contractors are entered into directly between you and the Contractor; EkoReno is not a party to such agreements
6. Contractor Obligations
- Maintain valid F-tax registration and appropriate business insurance
- Provide accurate, transparent, and competitive quotes in response to requests
- Deliver services in accordance with Swedish building standards and regulations
- Maintain professional conduct in all interactions facilitated through the Platform
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, algorithms, and software, are owned by EkoReno or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
EkoReno provides information and tools to assist your decision-making. However:
- Energy savings estimates, cost calculations, and grant eligibility assessments are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute professional advice or guarantees
- EkoReno does not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or outcome of work performed by Contractors
- To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, EkoReno shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. EkoReno reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases, though we may retain certain data as required by law.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved by the Swedish courts, with Gothenburg District Court as the court of first instance.
